Template:Redirect/doc

The purpose of this template is to reduce confusion by helping users get to their intended page if they were redirected to another page while, for example, searching for a topic. An example would be when a user searches for Hands (as in the body part), but ends up on the page titled Myrandil's Vicious Seizure (the spell commonly known as "hands") after being redirected.

Note: This does not create a redirect. For that, use #REDIRECT target.
