Can anyone confirm if sneaking is effective for 1)not having the various law enforcement npcs (DJB priests, city guards, royal guards) notice you when you're wanted, 2)not having Imperial Guards notice you to confiscate your weapons, and/or 3)entering a room with an npc that's fighting you (if you've stopped fighting them) without getting drawn back into the fight? I don't really have any characters with decent --Ilde 05:44, 26 December 2010 (UTC)

1) I think I've avoided Djb priests after stealing by sneaking in the past. Leaving the room really fast also works, they say something like where did they go?

3) Sure you just leave the room, stop, sneak high, wait for the stop to actually stop the fight and you can go back in the room with the npc. If your skills are good enough vs their perception it doesn't bring you out of hiding. Actually I've done that to you in CTF testing throwing weapons. :p

I've snuck past priests and watchmen before. I recall also being able to stop a fight and sneak back into a room with royal guards and city guards without being attacked. Stopping a fight, returning to the fighting npc, then backstabbing (or ambushing, with some timing) is a tactic for some players.

Ooooo, good. Have added those, then. And yeah, you can just leave the room quickly (assuming they didn't pursue you--they do that sometimes) to avoid them, I was just thinking of sneaking in so that they don't even start their stomping towards you bit.
