Hm, I seem to keep burning after I'm dead. Might be a bug...
You immerse yourself in the molten fat of this spring. The bubbling fat immediately begins to render your flesh. Perhaps this wasn't a good idea. You stand up. Hp: 0 (500) Gp: 50 (50) Xp: 1364 You jump into the fat spring. Someone says: MY, WE'VE BEEN A BIT CARELESS, HAVEN'T WE? SHALL WE POPPADOM TO THE NEXT DIMENSION? You turn and see Death standing behind you. Death says: PERHAPS YOU SHOULD TAKE A NUMBER, WE ARE BUSY TODAY. Death says: DO YOU HAVE ANY LAST GOOD-BYES OR IS IT STRAIGHT TO THE AFTERLIFE? Death says: I SUPPOSE YOU WANT TO BE ALLOWED TO STAY, DO YOU? Your skin is burning from the boiling fat. Hp: 0 (464) Gp: 45 (50) Xp: 45 Your skin continues to burni[sic] from the boiling fat. Blisters are beginning to form. Hp: 0 (464) Gp: 48 (50) Xp: 48 Your skin is burning from the boiling fat, turning black over nearly all of your exposed flesh. You think you should leave quickly. Hp: 0 (464) Gp: 48 (50) Xp: 48 Death says: I REALLY DON'T LIKE DOING ALL THESE FAVOURS FOR YOU PEOPLE. Death says: I MEAN, WHAT'S IN IT FOR ME? The heat and pain of the boiling fat are too great. Finally you expire and are deep fried by the fat. Hp: 0 (464) Gp: 50 (50) Xp: 51 Death says: HOW ABOUT I JUST LEAVE YOU HERE? NONE OF THE GODS WILL TOUCH YOU WITH A BARGE POLE.
- Oh, interesting. That last message looks like the one I got when I died... maybe after a certain point it's autodeath regardless of hp? I don't remember that happening when I tried it, but maybe I got out immediately... or maybe it only happens if you die from jumping in, not staying in too long.
- Also rather strange that you managed to use 5 gp after dying. --Ilde 03:25, 13 November 2010 (UTC)
- I guess the lines appear regardless of whether or not the players died as soon as they jumped in. Oh, and I fiddled with my description but took that bit out of the log. (It might also explain the 45 Xp.) --Tabs 6:09, 13 November 2010 (UTC)
