Talk:Ceremonial hammer (finesmithing)

The hammer does not appear to judge differently based on finesmithing ability. This was tested with a rough hammer forged by myself, and a beautiful hammer forged by someone else. I suppose there's a chance that the beautiful hammer might judge better for the person who did the forging (like the reforged dwarf axe, or the custom samurai weapons), but it doesn't seem to be worth the skill investment (as a warrior with low int) for me to try to find out.

Platinum appears to have better durability than gold but, as for how much better, that requires more testing than I care to do.
