Long Description
This is a traditional dwarf axe. What's left of one, anyway. Its pickaxe half looks slightly melted and has had its point snapped clean off, while its haft is bent at a severe angle and looks like it's on the verge of shattering. Its axe half seems to have survived intact though, a testimony to the durability of good dwarf steel. It looks generally useless for both mining and combat.
Appraises As
The ruined dwarf axe is about a foot and a half long and about nine inches wide. It is made of dwarf steel and could be used as a weapon of type axe. It is in fairly poor condition.

Copperhead mines, from a berserk dwarf miner.
