Using zscript:

#TRIGGER {^You wrestle (*) into submission and squeeze it into the crystal... and it pops right back out again.$} {#VARIABLE imbuing %lower( %replace( %1, " ", _))}
#TRIGGER {^Hp: %d~(%d~)  Gp: (%d)~((%d)~)} {#IF @imbuing {#VARIABLE imbue_cost.%eval( @imbuing) %additem( %eval( %2-%1), %db( @imbue_cost, @imbuing));#UNVAR imbuing;#LOOPDB @imbue_cost {#SHOW %key - %val}}}
and entering into the command line
imbue crystal with <name of spell>;score brief

We get a lovely table from the mud's output that looks like:

granny_benedict's_bond_of_loyalty - 180|180|180|180|180|180
mother_feelbright's_busy_bees - 160|160|160|160|160
gammer_shorga's_helpful_undergrowth - 170|170|170|170|170|170
mama_blackwing's_potent_preserver - 140|140
biddy_amble's_bee_buzzer - 300|300|300
nanny_revere's_traitorous_talisman - 180|180|180|180|180|180

delusions_of_grandeur - 200|200|200

Cost seems to be 171 gp but sometimes 175 or 174 gp... That probably includes a 4 gp regen since it takes 2 seconds to perform like score brief and that adds 4 gp for me, so 167 gp?

Gp regen seems quite steady at 4 gp regen while doing nothing. Frazyl 23:25, 29 March 2010 (UTC)

So there's no doubling of gp cost in your tests. -- Dirka

There might be some showing where you might spend more gp if you have more gp (or possibly if your max gp is higher) in the delusion tests. Tests with energy tea should help. Also doing more attempts with low gp. Or there might be something with how easy or hard you can do it and the degree of failure or success like fluke castings. Frazyl 02:25, 30 March 2010 (UTC)

Trying bees with low gp seems to give 167 gp, 4 gp less. Delusion gives weirder results that change. Frazyl 03:19, 30 March 2010 (UTC)
