Moon-daisy is a classic daisy - yellow disc surrounded by white rays. While it is possible to prepare un-opened flower buds for eating, the primary use of the daisy is as an ornamental.
A small, low-growing plant with a rosette of leaves and flower heads of yellow central disc flowers and pinkish-white night-blooming outer ray flowers.
It is not poisonous to eat. On the other hand, nothing appears to happen if one does eat it.
