A player's intelligence stat reflects how smart their character is, and determines their ability to figure things out and think logically.

Skill relationships

  • Intelligence features prominently in the magic and people skill trees, affecting all skills there.
  • It plays a significant role in the crafts, covert and adventuring skill trees.
  • It is not used very much in the fighting or faith skill trees.

Guild reliance

  • Witches and wizards rely heavily on intelligence, as it strongly influences spellcasting skills.
  • Thieves and assassins often have a reasonable level of intelligence due to its effect on covert abilities.
  • Warriors and priests may not require much in the way of this stat.
