The Ramtops Mountains and some desolate moorland border it on the west, and desolate moorland surrounds the isolated "islands" of it. More desolate moorland borders it on the Counterweight Continent side, and rocky shores separate it from the Turnwise Ocean and the Widershins Ocean. There are also large areas of glacier within it.
