Examples

The traveller's blue linen prayer book should look something like this:
This prayer book is designed with durability in mind above anything else. An extra-thick layer of embroidered blue linen forms a rigid cover, the front and back held together with a solid clasp. Between them, on thick weathered paper pages, heavy handwritten letters are written in waterproof ink.
The neatly-kept purple snakeskin prayer book should look something like this:
This prayer book is designed for the more organised and attentive priest. Its gilt-edged paper pages have index tabs on them written in the same printed style as the prayers inside. It is covered in carefully-stitched plain purple snakeskin, cut to expose the tabs along the pages.
The ornate orange skin prayer book should look something like this:
This prayer book is bound with blackened orange skin and covered with extremely ornate pictures and scenes holy to Seven-Handed Sek. Inside, the charred parchment pages are surrounded by lush
illuminations drawn in a careful hand around the engraved text.
