Greco is the Departure Gecko that players meet upon quitting the game. Greco ensures that the player's data is saved. Greco's gender is undetermined.

Greco gets one day off each year. During that time, the recording and saving data duties are covered by Greco's distant relative Gumboot.

Appearance

It is not possible to take a look at Greco because any commands sent after the quit command receives a "Fat chance, bozo." response.

Quit messages

The standard exit animals Greco appears with are a giant spider, a giant bird and a chimera:

Greco the Departure Gecko starts inspecting all your items and scribbling on a notepad.
Greco the Departure Gecko smiles brightly.
Greco the Departure Gecko exclaims: Well, everything seems to be in order. Bye bye!
Greco the Departure Gecko waves.

You clamber aboard the giant spider. It opens the door, releases a thread of silk out into space and, after a brief pause, climbs out after it possibly never to be seen again...
Do come again!
