Description(s)

Descriptions are example(s) from a single individual. Variations may be numerous, and dependent upon species, gender, age, location, and other variables.

Goat (Bad Ass, Bes Pelargic)

This sure-footed, brown-grey and bearded mammal is as domesticated as they come. Its benevolent nature belies an air of quiet confidence and extraordinary agility.

  • Alignment: Neutral

Goat (Bleak Prospect)

This gray goat seems quite content with life as she chews on a tuft of grass and eyes you with large, yellow eyes. She also seems quite willing to munch on anything you drop.

  • Alignment: Details needed.

Goat [adult] (Chronides Farmstead)

This Ephebian goat is skinny, proud and graceful. He has soft grey fur with a thick, grey beard and a short updwardly pointing tail. He has a long face and convex nose, two floppy ears and dark eyes.

  • Alignment: Details needed.

Goat [kid] (Chronides Farmstead)

This small kid, a Baladie bred goat, has dull black fur with large, light brown patches. He has floppy ears, bright eyes and a little, white beard.

  • Alignment: Details needed.

Goat (Ephebe)

This brown and white goat seems quite content with life as she chews on a tuft of grass and eyes you with large, yellow eyes. She also seems quite willing to munch on anything you drop.

  • Alignment: Details needed.

Goat (Razorback)

This is a little mountain goat, one of many in the Ramtops. She has little pointy horns protruding from her head. Her udders are swollen, obviously full of milk.

  • Alignment: Details needed.

Goat (CWC, Hublands, Lower Ramtops)

This is a little mountain goat, one of many in this area. She has little pointy horns protruding from her head and her udder is full of milk. She must have managed to find her way out of the pasture.

  • Alignment: Neutral

Mountain Goat (Upper Ramtops)

Like any mountain goat left to its own company for long periods, this goat is small and fat, but surprisingly rather cute. She tries to be friendly, but more often than not scares people away. She has small, pointy horns, a small pointy goatee, and sharp pointy teeth.

  • Alignment: Neutral

Uses

  • Ephebe goats can be led to alters to be sacrificed.
  • In some locations, goats will produce goat pellets.

Special Notes

  • Ephebe goats will eat most food or food-like items dropped by players.
  • The Razorback goat can be found under the bridge with the troll (of course). She can be milked.
  • Domestic goats in the Lower Ramtops and Hublands may be found in herds of 1 to 6 and will be accompained by a goatherd. Attacking a goat will provoke the goatherd. CWC goats do not have a goatherd and come in groups of 4 to 6.
  • Horns (2) can be harvested from both male and female mountain goats, but there is no known use and they cannot be sold
  • Barbary sheep are actually goats, but have their own entry
