Discworld Skills

Fighting.unarmed.grappling is the skill used to determine a player's ability to wrestle with opponents.

Uses

Being Thrown

In the pass near near the temple of soyin there are groups of giants, they throw players and this checks two skills, dodge and grappling.

Knocking NPCs off the walls in Djelibeybi uses this skill.

Protects against being knocked into the cold stream in the top entry part of the Grflx caves (rarely happens with a 363 bonus).

Fumble

This skill is the defensive skillcheck against the fumble ritual.

Inhumation

This skill is used when attempting to inhume with a garrotte.

Snatch

This skill is the defensive skillcheck against snatching, and determines whether the victim can hold onto their items.

Other

Escaping the Djelibeybi crocodile pit through the rushes requires this skill.
