They confer a +2 Dexterity bonus when worn, at the expense of -1 Strength and consuming 30 Guild Points at irregular intervals of between 30 and 60 seconds (as do iron gauntlets). They may also break easily, rendering them unsuitable for combat, but this is unconfirmed.
