Cumin comes from a bush with long, floppy stems and white flowers. Its seeds have a nutty and somewhat bitter taste.
This is a a small pile of thin brown cumin seeds, about four seeds.
It is not poisonous to eat. On the other hand, nothing appears to happen if one does eat it.
