Violet is small annual or short-lived perennial, often with purple flowers. An alternate name is 'heartsease' - this plant has various medicinal properties.
They're cute and purple.

These small plants grow in large clumps and put forth lovely purple blooms.
It is not poisonous to eat. On the other hand, nothing appears to happen if one does eat it.
Violets can be found in the following locations:
- Garden of the Temple of Small Gods in Ankh-Morpork
- Garden behind a house on Gate Avenue in Bes Pelargic
- Ethel Applebaum's cottage
- Palude Ditta park in Genua - may be seasonal
