Appearance

You see Lady Emily von Schaf the Guildmistress of the Thieves' Guild.
She is the thief of hearts.

Emily has shoulder length dark curly hair and heart shaped lips that seem almost on the verge of a smile. Her hazel eyes look up at you in wide eyed innocence. As you watch her though you notice a keenness of attention that belies her innocent look. Clearly Ankh-Morpork has made its impression on this daughter of Sheepridge. From beneath her hat, Emily's hair takes on a wild life of its own. The curls seem to bounce and frolic of their own accord. Her right hand bears a red henna tattoo of a dragon curled upon a pile of treasure. The treasure all appear to be hearts, each with a name.

She is in good shape.
She is standing.
Holding: Sweet Smile (left hand) and Bitter Fury (right hand).
Wearing: a dark red dress, a close-fitting black leather bag, a deep red silk backpack, a utility belt, a ruby-studded sword belt, a lapis lazuli penholder, two blackened canteens, two keyring necklaces, a Thieves' Guild Licence, Guildmistress Badge, Dragon Badge, Moose Shaped Badge, a black leather armband, a pair of studded leather wristlets, an ibis earring, Swiatlo Niewinnosci, a slim black leather choker, a stealth watch, a silver dragon bracelet, an opal bracelet, a rose gold wedding ring, a rose rhodonite ring, a small electrum ring, a fake flower and a pair of black leather boots.
Carrying: a grotty old potato sack.

Notes

ToDo

Some projects I would like to work on for the wiki.
  • Move my Newbie Packs Suggestions to a new subpage.
  • Clean up Special:UncategorizedCategories
    • Category:Books only has three player written books in it.
    • Create a page listing all books. Add a list of all the in game books with links to them if they exist in the wiki as their own page or withing another subject page.
    • Add player written titles that I have copies of.
    • Consider creating pages for each NPC book. Perhaps take the information from the current pages that have them, create the book page and then in the old page generate the info for multiple appropriate books from their new parent page. I may not be expressing this well.
  • Investigate Orphaned Pages Special:LonelyPages

Killing

'kk' by itself will attack the last npc listed in the room. This means you will attack an npc that was already in the room before you entered. Or you can specify your target like 'kk warrior'

alias kk kill $arg:living thing -1$

I rarely use my kill all alias. It is very risky to kill all. But there are times when you are in a really fast group and not managing to assist in time and unable to type the name of a target before they are all dead and you don't want to accidentally kill a priest in djb by killing living thing.... that is when I use this alias.... sometimes. Never type 'kill all'. This alias has some 'exceptions' that help keep one from making some bad choices. It is not fool proof. Still use some sense.

alias kka kill journeyer&philosophers&athletes&accountants&actors&ambassadors&anacondas&antonis &architects&bandits&bankers&barbarians&barmaids&bartenders&bears&beetles&beggars&beggers &belly dancers&birds&boatswains&bodyguards&boss&boys&brawlers&brigands&buccaneers&bucks&buffaloes &burners&calligraphers&camels&captains&carters&cashiers&centaurs&characters&charles&cheetahs &children&citizens&cleaners&clowns&cockroaches&commanders&coots&courtesans&courtiers&crane &crows&d'regs&dame&dealers&deborah&deckhands&deer&delbert&dockers&does&dogs&drakko&drovers &druids&drunkards&drunks&ducklings&ducks&dwarves&ebony&elephants&engineers&everymoose &executioners&falcons&farmers&farnem&fawns&fighters&fishermen&foxes&frankie&gamblers&gardeners &gazelles&generals&gentlemen&geraldo&giants&giraffes&girls&goats&grflxes&guards&hamish &handlers&harbourmasters&heavies&hengeyokais&herders&hermits&highwaymen&hippopotami&hitmen &hlakket&hogs&horses&hunters&hyenas&jesters&john&judges&knights&labourers&ladies&lawyers &leaders&lions&lizards&madmen&magicians&managers&mandarins&marlon&masters&men&mendicants &mercenaries&merchants&mice&monks&moose&muggers&musketeers&mystics&ninjas&nitsunis&noblemen &nomads&officers&outlaws&papergirls&patrollers&peacekeepers&peacocks&peasants&peddlers &penguins&pickpockets&pines&pirates&poets&ptargos&rabbits&rangers&recruits&ronins&rujonas &sailors&salesmen&saleswomen&sallyforth&samurais&scorpions&scribes&seagulls&sellers&sensei &sergeants&servants&sheep&shoppers&smugglers&snakes&soldiers&sows&spiders&spies&sprites&spys &squirrels&stevedores&stevie&strongarms&students&sweepers&thugs&toads&tpaz&traders&tramps &trolls&truckle&urchins&vagabonds&vendors&vermines&villagers&vincent&vines&vipers&vultures &warriors&warthogs&watchmen&weasels&wenches&willie&witches&wizards&wolves&women&workers &wrestlers&yetis&youths&zebras except ethelred&cerberus&pets&hattian guards&old living things&shifty looking men&shifty men&shopkeepers&thieves&players;

I had to break the above alias up by adding spaces or it would have run on too far to the right. If copy pasting the above alias does not work. You should replace ' &' with '&'.

Bury/Loot

Use the first one for things like rats that have no loot. It saves time.
alias bcs bury corpses $*$
This one is my usual loot and bury command. If I am looking for a particular item like the yellow yoyo, I will add it.
alias bcc get coins&gold jewellery&sacks&ruby-hilted rapiers&black bladed swords&yellow yoyo from corpses;bury corpses;pjb;scoreb;

This is the one I use when I have a cloud and want to make a bit of money. I have friends with much fancier aliases with nicknamed loot/coins that really maximise their profit and limit their coin burden. But some of those can really contribute to mud lag and this list is good enough for me.

alias loots get coins&dress&hairpins&kimonos&himations&chitons&peploi&jewellery&rapiers&silk clothes&sensible bags&bags&sunglasses&coats&mirrors from $arg:corpses$ except fundoshi&obi;pcb;pjb;l $arg:corpses$;score brief;bury $arg:corpses$;score brief;

These three aliases are used in the above aliases and so listed here for reference. They are just putting the loot away in 'sb' my current loot sack and I use score brief a lot just to at a glance keep track of my progress. Both because it is visually distinctive and gets recorded in my logs.

alias pcb put clothes in $arg:sb$;

alias pjb put jewellery in $arg:sb$;

alias scoreb score brief;

Grouping

You want to group with Emily? That would be great! But Emily's group might not be what you are expecting.

Em's not a number chaser. Em's groups are social groups that sometimes hunt.

Can I join your group?

Merlyn Womblesworth tells you: I once heard that you have a very specific list of what skills and their levels that it takes to go grouping with you. :p

You tell Merlyn Womblesworth: hahahaha

You tell Merlyn Womblesworth: not what you think

Merlyn Womblesworth exclaims to you: Oh really? Tell me then!

I'm not a number chaser. My groups are social groups that sometimes hunt.

Therefore, the requirements for grouping with me are:

Entertain me with friendly conversation. I don't like crude obnoxious speech and I don't like leaches that just want to be dragged and not converse. Yes, we all have silent times but we can't get to know you, if you only say five words each time we group.

I don't care if your skills kill things faster or not. We enjoy playing with the big kids and the newbies alike. I don't mind if you are mudding from work or with kids and get called away. We will keep you safe.

I don't like to be pressured to achieve certain XP rates, I often meander, side track, spend time stocking and talking more than expeeing. Have patience, group to hang out and chat, and eventually we might go hunt. I love having people join to hang out and chit chat while fussing at the Dragon's Nest. We often head out to pick up supplies for the shop and that might involve bashing things on the way. When the mood takes us we pick up the pace and start hitting things a bit more seriously.

I don't have rules about you need to lead x amount. You don't ever have to lead if you often hang out in our group, entertaining us with friendly conversation, while we are fussing about in non-exp mode. If however you want to lead and have our group as a meat shield, we are a lot more likely to switch into the xp mode.

...then I have very particular rules about what we are allowed to hunt but that is another list.

Emily's Hunting Restrictions

I don't kill thieves, especially that includes not hunting the thieves guild in Mad Stoat. People often do not realize that while Mad Stoat thieves auto attack everyone else they do not auto attack thieves. But if I am assisting a leader and s/he take me in there, I will be forced into the battle and I don't like that. I really avoid killing thieves anywhere, except if they steal from one of the group first. Brats however are always sanctioned because they steal from thieves, especially from newbie thieves.

I don't kill shopkeepers.

I don't kill sheep, I grew up in Sheepridge; Me Da would have me hide for worrying the sheep!

I don't do hoplites; I cant solo them and don't want them to start auto attacking me when I am alone.

I don't do Genua... if we have newbies that have not done the Genua quests; Newbies should have the chance to play on their own in safety in Genua.

In Dejlibeybi, I don't do priests or cats for obvious reasons. I don't want to be crocked, even though I do have the grappling skills to get through the reeds. I do get tossed into the desert by the priests often; It is an occupational hazard.

[Speaking of priests... I would say the following is not so much a rule as a ..even less than guideline... let's call it a tendency. I don't tend to kill priests, wizards, witches, or trolls anywhere, just because they are usually more annoying than they are worth. Witches often fly off before the death stroke, trolls dull my blades, priest visions are annoying, wizards sometimes explode. I really only hit them if they have something I want.]

Places like Medina, Snail, Sprites, Shades, Grflx are highly dependent on who is leading and who else is keeping me alive. In general, I say no to these places until we have grouped several times and I know the chance of death is limited to a fluke.

I have never seriously attempted Shelox. I am still lacking skills that would make me useful as tank. (By 'not seriously' I mean, I have been in on a run with some similarly skilled people on a no save day...we all died.)

I have not yet gone Sailing. I have offers from friends to take me despite my insufficient skills. I just havn't taken them up on it yet. I would probably not be an asset but would be being carried.

Emily is Fragile!

aka You are so old (or more politely, you have been here so long) you must be an Uber Tank

Hahahahahah NO.

I do have 500 levels (457 bonus) of sword and 500 levels (490 bonus) of parry and 600 levels (422 bonus) of tactics and about 3000 hp (give or take depending on if I am wearing gauntlets). However, I am still surprisingly fragile and will die in an instant if you don't watch carefully.
