## Safecracking

Safecracking is an interesting hobby, and the purview of the safecrackers specilisation. The crack command is only available to thieves who have 90+ levels of covert.lockpick.safes. A set of cracking tools is needed to crack a safe. Other tools may also be required. There are different types of safes out there and they are generally hidden. Ankh-Morpork is unique in the fact that many of them are not hidden at all.

Some of the tools required include:

• A small mirror Bligh Earcrusher's exclusive shop (North half of Park Lane, Ankh-Morpork)
• A drill A lumberyard on Dimwell Street (South half of Dimwell street, Ankh-Morpork)
• Rubber gloves Can be "purchased" at A Hai Kee Hai Waste Management (North end of the Street of One Thousand Water Buffalo, Bes Pelargic)
• Crowbar A lumberyard on Dimwell Street (South half of Dimwell street, Ankh-Morpork)
• A hefty hammer

## Panel safes

They consist of 3x3 grid, 7 letters, and 5 wires. You need to draw a grid on excel (3x3). you need to find out 3 things: the right wire, the right grid, the right letter, there is only 1 combination. each time you try connecting a wire, you have to move a slide, if you dont move a slide, you wont be able to tell. Each time you connect a wire, it will either tell you if the wire is wrong, or if the letter is not needed, or of the grid is not needed. Cross them out 1 by 1 until you connect the right wire to the right letter to the right grid (you have to slide the letter to the right grid once you find the right grid)

If you type dctest as per below, it shows you what number is roughly the right 3 digits to to open it. (you have to input the aliases below)

The clicks on the dots are the location of the answer. See below, the scale 0 to 9 then 0 to 9, above the 20 to 40. That corrosponds to the lock. For e.g if its 20 to 40, then the scale above, the 0 is 20, the 1 is 21, the second 0 is 30 etc.
