Crime & Punishment in Bes Pelargic
Theft in Bes Pleargic is largely ignored there. Sure, the victims may not be too happy with you should you fail but there is no official response to larceny.
There are some things that will get you noticed by the law such as carrying a weapon without a permit. These can be obtained on Tuna Walk, or near the Tang Estate, for a modest fee. Failure to comply will get your weapons confiscated if they are out in the open. In their sheathe or in a bag is safe. Oddly enough a meat cleaver is not considered a weapon (some food for thought).
The guards also do not appreciate fighting in front of them and will take action accordingly, usually by attacking the person they see as the agressor.
