---- I'm not sure if it's worth making a spreadsheet to back this up, but I've experimented by killing many dwarven warriors on the SUR (and other mobs) and found exactly the same thing, there's some small variation in the amount of XP gained, but it's in no way correlated to what the wimpy is set at, and in any case the difference is far too small. IMO wimpy appears to have no impact on XP gained from killing.--PrINTer (talk) 04:13, 13 February 2021 (EST)

I killed Heric Whileblade 20 times with wimpy at zero, getting an average of 2102 xp per kill, and 20 times at wimpy 30, getting an average of 1514 per kill. That's a 28% reduction, which is close enough to 30 for me.--Kartoffel (talk) 00:58, 14 July 2021 (EDT)

In my experience you always wimpy by exiting towards the direction you entered the room from, for example: If you move into a room to the south from the north, you will wimpy to the north. I have a hazy recollection that this may not have been true in the past as I seem to recall wimpying off a cliff and dying many years ago, and I didn't enter the room I wimpy'ed out of by climbing up the cliff. Can anyone else confirm this? (I haven't got enough HP at the moment to risk testing it out numerous times) --PrINTer (talk) 04:24, 13 February 2021 (EST)

It will be backwards, which is the opposite of the direction you are facing. This will not necessarily be the direction you arrived from, but it generally will be. Kartoffel (talk) 01:19, 14 February 2021 (EST)

wimpy affects xp?

I don't think wimpy level (still?) affects XP.

I've been killing the same NPC several times with wimpy 0%, then several times with wimpy 30%. The amount of XP gained was the same: 3,282 plus or minus 3 points. Tried with another NPC and got the same results.

I kept other variables the same: my hp and armour at the start, no commands or magic used, same attitude, etc.

I'm not sure if it's worth making a spreadsheet to back this up, but I've experimented by killing many dwarven warriors on the SUR (and other mobs) and found exactly the same thing, there's some small variation in the amount of XP gained, but it's in no way correlated to what the wimpy is set at, and in any case the difference is far too small. Wimpy direction
