I'm not sure what the purpose of this table is, it it very ungainly. Can probably be made simpler? If it's just a list of armours, all people really need to know if the type, material, vurdere, weight etc, things like description, symbol details etc aren't really needed and just makes the table too complicated even for people familiar with wiki format to enter stuff. 02:30, 1 March 2010 (UTC)

The purpose is not only to to provide functional information on armours but also to gather data on ordering, like what armour type can having lining or a coat of arms and what the final object looks like.
If the Template:Abbr gets fixed by someone who knows how many columns could be reduced by using abbreviations that expands on hovering above it. Short name, desc, coverage, temp could all be crunched very small.
As with everything, more info = more complex.
Even if only I enter stuff into it, it can help me get to conclusions to add back to the Ug Ogg article.
It is also possible to make a page with the bigger table and another with a smaller one but at this point it doesn't seem too helpful.

Also the options affect prices. Probably time to order too but to get the time you need to really order it which is very inconvenient, since I lost my logs of the pieces I already ordered.
If it proves to not help anything columns can be removed, but adding them is going to be less easy.

I imagine adding an extra is a set price for the most part, a separate column could be added just for that "Extras: treated, symbol, trim", I suspect different types of lining may effect the price. Also worth noting thieves pay more and I think warriors less. 13:22, 1 March 2010 (UTC)
Yeah it's probably a percentage increase. In fact someone said so somewhere. Just need to track it and confirm.
I'll rework the source of the table so I can easily remove most of the columns and add a smaller table on top with only like short name, quality, vurdere, coverage, weight, temp, length, width.
Of course it would be best of the Abbr template worked so we could put Desc in and scrap quality *and* with the desc we'd be able to figure out the parameters and so we could add price. Mmm. This actually sounds way better.
Arg, how to fix that template.
So anyway the large table is very convenient when ordering the armour at Ug Ogg because you have all the choices laid out. People could just add to the small table and I'd translate it into the big one or it might go away.

Mmm. So with guild changing prices I need to add that... I guess when people input into the small table they need to put their guild because it's simpler but to look at it would be better on the same scale, so convert the price later to ??? What's more standard, warrior price? I suppose it would be possible to make a template so that after entering the price and guild you can hover to see what each guild would pay...

Using the abbreviation template for the description might not necessarily be helpful. Depending on the browser you only get the first x characters displayed. Also at least in Firefox the tooltip text you see disappears after a few seconds. If you want to add information about embossments, trimmings and linings, why not add the bare minimum, maybe as separate columns, maybe just as text like "Can be: embossed, lined, trimmed" or so? --Gunde 19:28, 1 March 2010 (UTC)
