Confirmed not a safe, probably can be used for lockpicking practice, oh well

Was able to confirm that it is not the safe indicated in the Manor on Hill Street, that one is revealed by folding the rug in the parlour, I guess just need to check if it really is a safe and not just a locked box, this is the safe on Hill Street:

Made from solid metal, this lockable box looks like a good place to
stash those rare or valuable items. Naturally no safe is completely safe but a
safe is generally the safest place to keep things safe, giving rise to its name.
It is in excellent condition.
It is closed and locked.

Not sure if this is a safe and if it has been recorded in the list of safes already in Sto Lat as it belongs in the Mansion and not really on Park Lane or Hill Street so I presume those are other safes

If you go to the drawing room in the mansion and fold the rug, you will see this box:

This sturdy wooden box has been made from pine and has cunningly been
inserted into the floor in such a way that it looks like a part of it. The tiny
hinges are almost indistinguishable from the rest of the box and the bronze lock
has been made to look like a knot in the wood. Obviously someone didn't want
this box to be found.
It is in excellent condition.
It is closed and locked.

Hopefully someone can help me out with this one and unlock the box too

not a safe but a lockbox. looks like it needs 400+ bonus to open. if lord whiffleberry is there when you find it he says something about a trap. SamTheMan (talk) 08:22, 11 December 2021 (EST)

old stuff

(Erm, I think this page should be deleted, half the fun is finding the safe on your own in the first place, giving out the locations of safes is like giving out quest info. I mean sure, anyone can tell someone else the locations if they want, but listing them publicly on the wiki seems a bit wrong. Can somebody remove this page please?) [14:24, 20 May 2012]

Personally I have no problem with the list existing. If you don't want to use it to find safes, you don't have to. Zexium 14:50, 20 May 2012 (UTC)
I have now used the same template that is also used for quest spoilers which makes it easier for people not to get all locations at once if they maybe only want to know them for one city:
* safe location goes here

A very practical solution. Thanks. Zexium 18:18, 20 May 2012 (UTC)
I strongly disagree with removing the page. If you don't want information no one is forcing you to look at it.
I added a warning so people know it can be considered spoilerish and can choose not to look at it.
If there's no easy way to find info on feature x, then most likely it won't be used much which is sad.
As for trying to censor information it didn't work for quest information so I don't see it succeeding with safes.

If it's okay to add information to the page, why is it locked? I have information I'd like to share.
It became a spamming / vandalism target, so it's locked for anonymous users and new members. Zexium 00:34, 16 July 2012 (UTC)

Looks like there is a safe in the
