Talk:Flowers

Flipping coins in high thaum rooms sometimes produces random flowers with a magic line of "The bouquet shimmers in octarine." These are probably the same as from Eringyas' Surprising Bouquet. Though sometimes flipping coins produces yellow caterpillars who eat the flowers as soon as they fall on the ground. --Frazyl 06:55, 28 July 2010 (UTC)

Oooooo, really? I'll have to try that! Off to the Hub... --Ilde 19:30, 28 July 2010 (UTC)

I distinctly remember being able to gather some kind of flower in the forest nearish Ohulan Cutash... not sure if it was evergreen or deciduous. I think it must have been in the spring, since I can't find any now (in the summer). Will need to check again when spring rolls around again. --Ilde 22:31, 28 July 2010 (UTC)

Well when it's fall you can get leaves (and wear them) from the ground in terrain forests in sur and ram. I don't remember flowers though... --Frazyl 23:18, 28 July 2010 (UTC)

Ooooo, nice! Will have to wait for the fall... --Ilde 02:34, 29 July 2010 (UTC)
Hmmmm... well, it's autumn right now, with some of the forest terrains having the line about leaves on the ground, and I couldn't gather or get any leaves. :O Do you know if it's a special room or something? (I can gather leaves in the jungle, but they're not wearable, I think.) --Ilde 00:10, 15 August 2010 (UTC)

Well the terrains just outside Hillshire have them, you just get them. Possibly it's a SUR terrain thing. There's like 5-6 different types. --Frazyl 01:08, 15 August 2010 (UTC)

[edge of a forest near some mountains]
ff ^^^ You are on the edge of a forest near some mountains. The village of Hillshire lies to the north, a range of rolling mountainous hills fills the
f f ^^^ view to the northeast and Skund Forest spreads out to the east, south, southeast and northwest.
fff ^^^^ The ground is littered with fallen leaves.
ff$^^^^ It is a pleasantly warm secundus autumn's morning with almost no wind and a beautifully clear sky.
f@@f^^^ There are three obvious exits: east, south and west.

New terrain! --Ilde 02:26, 15 August 2010 (UTC)
This is sort of interesting... I'm not sure exactly what armour slot this means they occupy:
You cannot put on one of the oak leaves, two silver birch leaves, two ash leaves and the maple leaf since you are already wearing a club badge, a white heather and thistle buttonhole, a beautiful hand made tussie mussie, a stone medallion, a silver birch leaf, four sycamore leaves, four ash leaves and two oak leaves.

Necklace? I thought medallions were necklaces... but badges are? And I didn't know you could wear that many necklaces. ETA: Oh, and I've got a pendant, too, which apparently isn't the same kind of thing. Odd.

Rose seller

That's not strictly true about the rose seller, although he does at least seem to stop his wandering during the day. Sometimes I've caught him just hanging around somewhere else (not his house) during the day. Like Welcome Soap where it meets Cable Street for some reason... not sure why. --Ilde
