:I've seen a similar mention for [[Bes_Pelargic_quests#.22Tree_Trimmer.22.2C_in_which_you_cut_off_the_deadwood..C2.A0.28Quest_level_3.29|Tree Trimmer]]: "You might be rewarded with 5 tree climbing levels." This sounds like either unconfirmed or the reward might depend on your current skill level not being too high or something. But it would support the idea that some quests give minor skill rewards.

Crystal balls

Are you sure it's checked against summoning? I'd have thought scrying would be a far more obvious choice... --Chat 17:07, 28 July 2009 (UTC)

Abjuring is used to resist the scrying, perception is is used against summoning to see the distortions there might be another couple of skillchecks in there too.

Very well then - just wanted to be sure it wasn't a mistype. FYI, you can indent your paragraphs by putting a ':' in front of them (or :: for two indents, ::: for three, etc.); it's also helpful if you sign your talk edits (you can do this by putting '~~~~' in after your edit). --Chat 23:09, 28 July 2009 (UTC)

"Earitating Student" TM

After solving the "Earitating Student" quest in the Listening Monk's temple, I was given 3 levels of ad.pe. Is this known? Is it a set reward, or just a random anomaly?

I've seen a similar mention for Tree Trimmer: "You might be rewarded with 5 tree climbing levels." This sounds like either unconfirmed or the reward might depend on your current skill level not being too high or something. But it would support the idea that some quests give minor skill rewards.
