Sorklin's Field of Protection (abbreviated as SFP) is a defensive spell that creates a magical impact shield around the target. It's basically a weaker version of Transcendent Pneumatic Alleviator.

You channel magic to form an impact shield around yourself.

Success

With a noise that sounds like "Plink!", everything around you flashes red for a moment.

Failure

There is a vague red flickering in the air and a muffled shattering noise is briefly heard.
Somehow you don't think that worked.

Wizard seems to be looking at something near you.
Wizard appears to tense momentarily.

Wizard appears to be thinking about something.

With a noise that sounds like "Plink!", the air around Wizard flashes red for a moment.

Effects

A magical impact shield is created around the target. The shield will break when it has absorbed enough hits, although it will also break of its own accord after enough time.
