Snatch is a covert command used to steal held and carried items, as well as money from a purse, from a target. This command is not covert in that the target and observers will always see the use of the command, and as such is checked against fighting.unarmed.grappling.

You need to specify an exit to leave after trying to take the item by force. If this exit does not exist you will remain present to be attacked by the victim.

Syntax

snatch <item> from <living> leaving <direction>      Snatch something from someone and make a run for it.

Acquisition

Snatch can be learned at 5 levels of covert.manipulation.stealing from the leader of any thief guild.
