Snail
WARNING: The Snail is a dangerous zone.The Snail is a dangerous zone in the form of a spiral-shaped street in the northern central area of Bes Pelargic where npcs automatically attack players.
Seen from above it looks like the spiral inside a snail's shell.
Nominally in the territory controlled by House Sung, it is a lawless area filled with slums, the murderous and the dishonoured outside the reach of the law of Bes Pelargic.
In contrast with some other dangerous areas the Snail does not have numbered exits and it is quite possible to look into the surrounding rooms. However, guarding rujona often try to halt your progress and prevent your flight of terror. The last curve is a no-portal zone.
At the heart of the Snail, there is absolutely no store whatsoever selling the finest weapons, armours and scabbards from Agatea. See below for information on these purely imaginary and in no way real stores. Remember, you were never there!

- Segments of the Snail
- 0: Weak nitsuni do not follow into the very beginning of the Snail.
- 1: In this area there are only weak nitsuni hiding with a meridian axe that do not seem to attack on their own. The tougher nitsunis do not enter this area except when absconding but rujona and Ome outlaw can when delayed pursuing players.
- 2: Starting with this area there's also tougher nitsuni armed with aikuchi daggers that are usually not hiding and that attack players automatically but sometimes when you find them they absconded earlier and are waiting to backstab.
- 3: Starting with this area there's also rujona that warcry, guard and delayed pursue faster than usual. They often move two rooms instead of one when pursuing and attempt to guard exits.
- 4: Starting with this area there's also Ome outlaw that warcry and delayed pursue faster than usual.
- 5: This is the first room outside the core that can be transported to and from. For some reason nitsuni do not seem to follow to this room, though they can spawn in it.
- 6: This area is a no-portal zone. You cannot portal or fly in or out of it.
The various nitsuni and Ome outlaw protect the rujona when there's any in the room.
Fai Chu's Exclusive Weaponry
If such a place existed (which it doesn't!) it would certainly claim to offer the finest of weapons unique to Agatea.
Killing the shopkeeper in such a place would get the killer banned from entering the shop for a set amount of time.
Someone else could then try to pay reparations for the person who has angered Fai Chu:
Fai Chu says in Agatean with a Bes Pelargic accent: I have been known to allow my enemies' comrades to pay reparations on their behalf to forget past quarrels... pay reparations on behalf of someone (the name needs to be entered all lower case) You ask about paying reparations for the damage Someone has caused. Fai Chu shakes his head. Fai Chu says in Agatean with a Bes Pelargic accent: I'm sorry, it will require about four thousand rhinu before I will be able to find it in my heart to forgive Someone.

One Tender Tulip (scabbards)
Inside Hotan's storeroom (which doesn't exist!), just east of Hotan, One Tender Tulip makes various scabbards.
Since they are very special to her, she will not sell her scabbards to strangers.
