Casting messages
Casting
You flash the rat your best smile. You turn your foot to the left and shake the rat's tail in the air ominously.
Success
The rat dies. A rat pelt bursts out of the corpse of a rat. A rat tooth bursts out of the corpse of a rat. A rat tooth bursts out of the corpse of a rat. A rat left rear leg bursts out of the corpse of a rat. A rat right front paw bursts out of the corpse of a rat. A rat right rear paw bursts out of the corpse of a rat. A rat tooth bursts out of the corpse of a rat. A rat right eye bursts out of the corpse of a rat. The corpse of a rat quivers, and oozes into nothingness.
The parts that burst out of the corpse seem to be random.
The corpse of a rat starts to twitch violently. A bloodied baby rat suddenly bursts forth from the corpse of a rat! A bloodied baby rat suddenly bursts forth from the corpse of a rat! A bloodied baby rat suddenly bursts forth from the corpse of a rat! The corpse of a rat quivers, and oozes into nothingness.
This baby rat is covered with blood, gore and placenta. Based on the piece of umbilical stuck between its toes, it would be a reasonable assumption that it has just chewed its way out of its mother's womb. It is in good shape. It is standing.
You flash the bloodied baby rat your best smile. You turn your foot to the left and shake the rat's tail in the air ominously. The bloodied baby rat starts to vibrate, bits of its body smoulder and then are totally consumed by flames. All that remains is a tiny rat skeleton which then crumbles to dust.
Other things that may burst out of the corpse:
- A caramel loveball
- Tadpoles:
This small tadpole flops about pathetically, having been removed from the warm, nurturing and enclosed (albeit furry) environment that protected it from the cruel, uncaring world. It is in good shape. It is standing.
Failure
One of standard spell failures. Rat tail is not consumed.

Notes
Rodents may or may not reveal a hidden bounty when destroyed.
