Rubayak's Power Storage (abbreviated as RPS) is a miscellaneous spell that allows you to store power in a spiral of containment for later use. It will drain all of your guild points and how well the power is stored will depend on your skills.
This spell costs 40 GP to cast, and takes up 30 units of mind space.
The following skills are used in the stages of this spell:
Also crafts.points is used to determine how efficient the transfer of energy is.
You prepare to cast Rubayak's Power Storage on the black shell. You carefully inspect the black shell. You collect power suitable for artifacts from within yourself. You lift the black shell to eye level in front of you. You funnel your power into the black shell.
The interior of the black shell glows a very faint pink for a moment.
The message gives an indication of the success. :
|The interior of the black shell glows a very faint pink for a moment||0/5 to 4/5|
|The interior of the black shell black shell glows a faint pink for a short while||5/5 to 7/5|
|The interior of the black shell glows pink for a while||8/5 to 9/5|
|The interior of the black shell glows a bright pink for a time||10/5 to 12/5|
|The interior of the black shell glows a very bright pink for quite a time||13/5 to 15/5|
|You are almost blinded by the intense pink glare that comes out of the black shell||16/5 or more|
The interior of the shell starts to glow pink when the glow suddenly collapses into a small bolt of lightning which stabs at you.

As you cast Rubayak's Power Storage on a black shell stars will start to appear inside the shell. The number of stars in the shell corresponds to energy at least equal to the number of pinches of purple mineral powder within the shell, rounding down. A shell with 2 star could have as much energy as 14/5ths a pinch of purple mineral powder (2 and 4/5ths), while a shell with energy equal to just 4/5ths a pinch of purple mineral powder would show as having no stars at all.
- "The interior of the shell is filled with a faint swirling pinkish mist, within which you can make out one tiny sparkling star."
- "The interior of the shell is filled with a faint swirling pinkish mist, within which you can make out ten tiny sparkling stars."
- "The interior of the shell is filled with a faint swirling pinkish mist, within which you can make out more than a dozen tiny sparkling stars."
- "The interior of the shell is filled with a faint swirling pinkish mist, within which you can make out many tiny sparkling stars."
To get the best results, cast Rubayak's Power Storage at full GP (and in a quiet room, with no GP draining items on) and average the results of the first few casts on a shell to get an idea of how much power is actually getting into the shell. Then keep track of how many times you've cast RPS on the shell. Multiply to find the amount of power contained in the shell, and use the star messages to help verify you are correct.
