Experiments with Iskra's seafoam whip
Experiments 1 - some vague anecdotal experiments
> appraise whip
The seafoam whip is about five feet long and about an inch wide. It is made of octiron and could be used as a weapon of type flail. It is in excellent condition.
Iskra has had the whip soak up rain water and sweat and heal itself.
Squirting her with a fake flower until She is soaked and doesn't look that well at all.
does not seem to fix the whip even though the whip does give some messages about soaking up water.
Experiment 2 - blue water and canteen
Dipping the whip in a canteen of blue water mixed with about 2 cups of water:
The whip: It is in very good condition.
The blackened canteen is about three-quarters full with two cups of blue water, mixed with two cups of water.
You dip the seafoam whip into one of the blackened canteens. When you draw it out again, it looks thicker than before.
The blackened canteen is about half full with two cups of blue water.
The whip was still in very good condition.
Your seafoam whip drips onto the ground.
Dipping into the canteen with only blue water:
You dip the seafoam whip into one of the blackened canteens, but nothing happens.
Experiment 2b - relaxing fountain
Attempted to dip directly in my fountain but as expected that failed.
> dip whip in fountain
The relaxing fountain is bone dry!
Experiment 2c - pint glass of water
I then filled a pint glass with a pint of water from my water fountain.
You fill the pint glass of water from the relaxing fountain.
The pint glass of water is completely full with one pint of water.
You dip the seafoam whip into the pint glass. When you draw it out again, it looks thicker than before.
The glass is now empty and the whip is in excellent condition.
Experiment 2 Conclusions
You can not use blue water.
A pint glass of water is big enough to dip into.
The amount of water needed to go from very good condition
to excellent condition
may have been as little as a pint or it may have been that the 2 cups in the canteen was not enough and/or not actually 2 full cups worth and the extra pint may have been enough to put it over. Perhaps there is a threshold that must be met.
We are concerned that some inconsistencies we are seeing may be a bug. But a lot more testing needs to be done to verify what consistently works and what consistently fails.
