## Gas trap test

I found a gas trap, so I decided to do some testing.

Firstly, without any protection at all:

There is a loud hissing noise. You choke on poison gas.
{-873 HP}

Casting HEB with all methods maxed and with one yellow crystal, shields output:

 * You are protected by an elemental shield against:

And now for the first shield test:

There is a loud hissing noise. You choke on poison gas.
{-419 HP}

There seems to be a reduction of damage (halved), but not blocking entirely like TPA. Further testing:

Casting with one more crystal after already having cast with one crystal first:

There is a loud hissing noise. You choke on poison gas.
{-245 HP}

Another reduction it seems (halved again, or a quarter of the original damage probably).

So does that mean that the shield strengthens with each additional cast? Let's try casting on two more additional crystals while having the first two-crystal shield active:

There is a loud hissing noise. You choke on poison gas.
{-325 HP}

And I'm out of crystals.

Conclusion: So far, inconclusive on whether the shield actually gets stronger or if the trap gives very random damage. It may be that HEB has a cap on two or three crystals per element as well (half or quarter of original damage).

Also it doesn't seem like the timer for the elemental shield goes down if it takes damage.

Further research needed!
