About

The Moonlit Market is a market (duh) that is held on the top floor (not the roof) of the Five Ways Bell Tower whenever there is a full moon. The market lasts for three days (Disc Time). Every market the vendors will change, as will their goods. The vendors and wares available are largely assassin-oriented and include a few items with insignia from the Conlegium Sicariorum houses, although anyone with the skills to reach the market can shop there. Engaging in combat in the presence of a guard will get you thrown off.

Directions

To reach the Moonlit Market, go to Five Ways in Ankh-Morpork. Outside the bell tower, "climb up", which uses adventuring.movement.climbing.rock the first three climbs and adventuring.movement.climbing.rope to reach the top floor. If you want to leave by jumping (or are shoved off), you'll need skills in adventuring.acrobatics.tumbling.

Traders

There are a number of traders in the market. They arrive gradually in the evening and leave gradually, and are gone by mid-morning. Not all of them appear; there are usually four in the market at a time. If one appears on the first night, then that peddler will be there on the second and third nights, and there won't be new peddlers. They don't always occupy the same alcove they used the night before. Their prices vary a bit, though most things cost upwards $50.

Traders:

  • Jessamine Clambers sells jewellery
  • Tom Grandison sells clothing and sheaths
  • Llenny Merridew sells men's clothing
  • Oscar Singleton sells weapons
  • Tarquin Whistler sells women's clothing

The peddlers' goods vary. It's possible one has a certain item one time, and next month they don't have it in stock. They replace their stock throughout the night but don't stock new items. Once you've bought an item from a trader, you have to wait a few minutes (five at most) if you want to buy another of the same item.

If Oscar Singleton is out of a particular weapon, you can "order" one from him and "collect" it from him the next time he turns up at the market. As long as he's present, you can wait as long as you want to collect your item. You can only order one at a time.
