Marjoram is a popular spice. There are several varieties, each with a slightly different flavor. In some locales, marjoram is synonymous with oregano, although the two plants are quite different.
Tiny pink blossoms perch on the rugged stems of the sweet-smelling rugs of the herb, contrasting against its reddish spearheaded leaves.
This is a small pile of marjoram, about three stalks. Marjoram, with its large, roundish leaves is popular as a spice.
It is not poisonous to eat. On the other hand, nothing appears to happen if one does eat it.
