To use the ring you wear it.
*This uses about 16 magic [[gp]] at the moment of wearing it. There does not seem to be any upkeep costs.
*If you are a [[witch]], it temporarily removes your inherent buoyancy, making you swim like other people, making it easier to go underwater even if you don't mean to, but harder to swim in general.
*If you are not a [[witch]], it temporarily makes swimming and floating easier like witches, but swimming down is harder.

When you remove the ring you return to normal.
*This does not use [[gp]].
