Acquisition
This spell can be learnt at 100 levels of magic.spells.misc, and is taught by Granny Weatherwax and Aunty Ogg-San.
Casting
This spell costs 45 GP to cast, and takes up 20 units of mind space. It may be cast on any number of club badges.
The difficulty of casting this spell is proportional to the number of badges the caster is attempting to combine. research If this has been marked on a page, it's because there was something that probably isn't known, that the person who edited the page thinks could be found out. Perhaps you could figure this thing out, and be famous evermore. Combining a couple of badges together then the resulting one with a couple more is easier than all of them at once.
Skills
The following skills are used in the stages of this spell:
Components
This spell does not require any components to cast, only the badges to be amalgamated.
Casting messages
- Casting
You chat a bit to your badges, attempting to visualise their inner significance.
You mentally align the badges with each other, attempting to get them to cooperate and work as one.
Without the badges noticing, you abruptly force them to stay that way.
- Success
The badges tremble between your palms. Suddenly they go very hot, and a tiny wisp of smoke curls between your fingers. Opening your hands, you find a single badge between them.
- Failure
Something has gone wrong! The badges between your hands suddenly become very hot indeed, causing you to drop them to the ground, where they promptly turn into a badger!
or
Suddenly the badges rebel and stubbornly return to their separate existences.
Failure
On failing this spell, a small and rather angry badger may be created. The club badges may also be consumed.
