Foxglove (also called "digitalis") is a tall biennial. Flowers produced on the tall spike vary in colour with species, and may be purple, pink, yellow, or white, and can possess various markings or spottings. It is often grown as an ornamental. Although the plant is considered to be toxic, specially prepared extracts have medicinal use.
The foxglove flowers come in a range of colours and grow up a long stem like fingers interspersed with small leaves. A range of pink, yellow, red, purple and white flowers grow here.
Foxglove is poisonous to consume.
