Fox (Sto Lat)
A wary red fox with a sharp nose, delicate black legs and a full brush tail, this enterprising and versatile animal forages about in hills, forests, grasslands and even cities, hunting for small rodents and birds (or rubbish) to eat.
- Alignment: Details needed.
Fox [adult] (Sto Plains)
A wary red fox with a sharp nose, delicate black legs and a full brush tail, this enterprising and versatile animal forages about in hills, forests, grasslands and even cities, hunting for small rodents and birds to eat.
- Alignment: 2 degrees of evil
Fox [cub] (Sto Plains)
Chubby, easily puzzled and still completely reliant on its parents, this anxious little fox cub is busily exploring the world around - or at least, those parts of it that are relevant when you're less than a foot high - under the guise of helping its parents with the day's hunt.
- Alignment: 6 to 7 degrees of good
Fox (CWC - Mountains, Upper Ramtops - Moorland)
This is a young white vixen of querulous and curious aspect, her thick pelt creamy and rich for the winter. Not a hair is out of place, from the tips of her large, sharp ears to her long, slim legs.
- Alignment: Neutral
Lancre Reciprocating Fox (Lower/Upper Ramtops - Forest)
This beautiful specimen of vulpine wildlife is the Lancre reciprocating fox. It is reddish-brown, with golden flecks of fur around its nose, and a white chest. Little is known about these animals, except that they are reputed to behave like a warrior about to go into battle. In the minds of many this means that they drink a lot and make love as much as possible, which may or may not be the case. What is certain is that their distinctive cry sounds like a man who has fallen off a cliff. This leads to some problems in search-and-rescue missions.
- Alignment: Neutral
Uses
- None
Special Notes
- Fox cubs are only present during Discworld spring. From 1 to 4 will be found with an adult.
- Sto Lat foxes will flee from attack, usually two rooms.
- The desert fox is not included within this category because it is not a true vulpine.
