Descriptions are example(s) from a single individual. Variations may be numerous, and dependent upon species, gender, age, location, and other variables.
Actually a species of jackal, this compact little animal's large ears and delicate features make her look sufficiently vulpine to have earned its popular name. Her pale gold coat is deep enough to preserve body heat at night when she is at her most active, while her large ears act as radiators to release extra heat during the day. Her broad-splayed paws are over-large to keep from sinking into the loose sand, and, together with large, long-lashed eyes and her diminutive stature, give her a puppyish look.
- Alignment: Neutral
- This critter is not included under foxes because it is not a true vulpine
