Description(s)

Descriptions are example(s) from a single individual. Variations may be numerous, and dependent upon species, gender, age, location, and other variables.

Cheetah

One of the smallest of the big cats, this cheetah's athletic build and dog-like paws make her a light-weight sprinter, one of the fastest animals on the Disc - although, like all cats, she still risks a coronary if she tries to run very far. Coin-sized black spots trace sporty lines all over her body, and distinctive black tear-lines furrow her small, neat face.

  • Alignment: Neutral

King Cheetah

This is that rare variety of cheetah known as 'king'. His fur, instead of being pale gold and close-cropped, is bronze, long and silky. The neat coin-shaped spots of the ordinary cheetah have deepened and drooped into dark blotches, which run down his flanks like the stripes of a tiger. Nonetheless, he still retains the athletic form of the cheetah, and the characteristic tear-like markings running down his neat face.

  • Alignment: Neutral

Uses

  • No special uses

Special Notes

  • Cheetahs will pursue if attacked.
  • Cheetahs may be solitary, else come in groups of 2 to 5. King and normal varieties can be found in the same group.
