These templates are for liquid measures of volume. If liquid volumes are put into a sortable table using these templates, they should sort properly, by volume. Not only should 9 drops show up as being less than 10 drops, but 1 tsp (teaspoon) should show up as being more than .25 tbsp (tablespoons) but less than 1 tbsp.
Non-integer amounts may be used. If you want to say half a cup, that would be:

And it will show up as ".5 cups".
All of the templates normally take one argument, the number of drops, pints, etc., but they can optionally have a second argument. Using a second argument causes the second argument to be displayed instead of the default.
