Descriptions are example(s) from a single individual. Variations may be numerous, and dependent upon species, gender, age, location, and other variables.

--Sto Lat--

This is a beautiful bloated butterfly, ambling around aimlessly with an eagerly eccentric expression. Its furry face is vacantly vapid, its life expectancy likely evanescent as it flits fleetingly from frond to turf.

--Terrains - Sto Plains--

Butterfly [Blue/Iridescent Blue]

This tiny butterfly is dark grey on the bottom and, when its wings are folded, looks like nothing more than a dead leaf. When they are open, on the other hand, it is a brilliantly vivid shade of iridescent blue.

  • Alignment: Neutral

Butterfly [Cabbage-eating]

This little butterfly is of a type endemic to the Sto Plains. It subsists on a diet that consists entirely of cabbage. Despite this, its classification of "nymphalida flatulens" is a misnomer, as its digestive system works very differently from that of a schoolboy.

  • Alignment: Neutral

Butterfly [Emerald/Grey/Green]

This dusty butterfly is a muted green that makes it nearly invisible as it flits from plant to plant. The camouflage appears to be reasonably effective, seeing as it hasn't yet been eaten.

  • Alignment: Neutral

Butterfly [Monarch]

This orange and black butterfly flits from plant to plant, in search of delicious nectar. This particular variety are known for the long migrations that they take from the Sto Plains to the high meadows near the hub and back again.

  • Alignment: Neutral

Butterfly [Obsidian/Jet Black]

This strange little butterfly is a few shades darker than pitch. Its wings almost seem to absorb any light. Unlike other butterflies, it also appears to have no abiding interest in plants.

  • Alignment: 2-4 degrees of good

  • None

Special Notes

  • Butterflies on the Sto Plains are found in groups with moths. Group size may be 1 to 17 individuals.
